Certified Public Accountant

Location: Spokane Valley, WA
Job Type: Full-time
Experience: 4+ years
Work Location: In person
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Salary: $70,000–$90,000 per year

As a Certified Public Accountant at Anderson Peretti & Co., you will play an important role in managing our clients’ financial and accounting needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare and review business and personal tax returns
  • Manage client relationships and projects
  • Interpret financial reports and provide financial analysis
  • Perform payroll functions and help ensure tax compliance
  • Perform accrual accounting and account reconciliations
  • Prepare regulatory reports for government agencies
  • Analyze cash flow and recommend improvements
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts
  • Manage a group of clients while training and supporting our team

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
  • CPA license or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of professional accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of income tax and accounting principles
  • At least 2 years of business income tax experience preferred
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Thomson Reuters Suite, including UltraTax, Practice CS, and Workpapers, preferred
