Certified Public Accountant Job Description

Responsibilities:
– Prepare and review Business and personal tax returns
– Manage clients and projects
– Interpret financial reports and provide analysis to clients
– Perform payroll functions and ensure compliance with tax laws
– Accrual accounting and account reconciliation
– Prepare regulatory reports for government agencies
– Analyze cash flow and make recommendations for improvement
– Reconcile balance sheet accounts
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
– Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or equivalent
– Strong knowledge of income tax and accounting principles and practices
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
– Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
– Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
– Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Thomson Reuters Suite Preferred
